How to review this movie? The director is not shy about including footage that doesn't push the story. In fact, he doesn't insult your intelligence by making clear what the story and the themes are.
The movie just flows around you as if you are a rock in its stream and you are asked to make of it what you can. Great acting by Daniel Day-Lewis, Juliette Binoche and Lena Olin. I'm glad I finally got around to watching this one.
