(1988) The Unbearable Lightness of Being.
MATURE DRAMA.
Similar in tones of style with the other "Henry & June" which is raw, dark and dreary with adult themes about successful surgeon Tomas (Wonderfully played by Daniel Day Lewis)who doesn't know how to commit until he eventually comes across French actress Juliett Binoche as Tereza!
Story adpted from the novel written by Milan Kundera and directed by Philip Kaufman! Both the love scenes and the nudity are unerotic since it serves purposed to the point of the story and misunderstandable to perhaps anyone who're not mature! Best description to describe this film is an adult themed David Lean film!
Strong.
3 out of 4.
