Review of The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964) by Sarah C — 22 Jul 2007
Apparently, every conversation in Cherbourg is sung. This is annoying most, but to someone who's familiar with call-and-response in the Catholic liturgy, it comes pretty naturally. ;) A tale of love and love lost painted in the colors of the real world of France in the early 1960s.
A must-see just to open one's horizons.
