Review of The Two Popes (2019) by Moviemitch96 — 20 Dec 2019
A simple yet expertly acted biopic from two great veteran actors! Sir Anthony Hopkins and Johnathan Pryce are a delight to watch interact with each other, and their dialogue and exchanges with one another are brilliant.
Granted, it is a little slow and played a bit safely and close to politics in an effort to cater to everybody, which comes off a little weak, but really you should just come for the performances, because Pryce and Hopkins are at the top of their game here.
