The sequel to 'Chinatown' and though it as the same labyrinthine plot, it doesnt quite pull it off. The cast seem to be going through the motions, and even Keitel and Nicholson are a little lacklustre - but there are some memorable lines - "I'm trying to be a gentleman about this.
..so get on your knees and put your arse in the air.." - and a sexy turn from one of my favourites Madeleine Stowe!
