Review of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011) by Karen M — 02 Oct 2015
It was the comedy event of the season! After a few drinks and mussels at Brasserie Les Halles in NYC, a few friends and I traipsed over to the East Side movie theatre and got some expensive tickets for Breaking Dawn.
We settled down in our seats and waited for the film to start not sure what we were getting ourselves into... The movie began with a wedding and some terrible, monotone dialogue. Then came the honeymoon-and boy, was that HILARIOUS! From the weird bathroom scenes, to the bed breaking when they were making love and the inner vampire came out of what's his face-we couldn't contain our uproarious laughter.
Starting with the crazy, monotone, fifth-grade written dialogue and the actors long, drawn-out pauses and looks, (endlessly needing an acting coach)-it is only plausible to watch when under the influence.
Enjoy!
