Bela Tarr's swan song is a masterpiece. Even if you don't fully "get it", this is a haunting film that will stay with you long after you've left the theater. I was prepared for this film in the most obvious sense; slow pacing, long takes, non-existent narrative.
But I was not prepared to be blown away. And I certainly was.
