Review of The Trust (2016) by Matt G — 23 Jul 2017
A conventional as possible plot that takes very little risks with two strong performances from both Cage and Wood. Both create interesting and dynamic characters with great chemistry but both have very little depth throughout aside from a nice little cameo from Lewis that has a nice touch.
The films climax was a welcome surprise but once again does very little in the grand scheme of things.
