Jim Carrey is one of the most versatile actors in Hollywood. He can shine in both his comedic and dramatic roles. You've seen him in dozens of comedic roles but only a few dramatic and some examples are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Joel Schumacher's fail The number 23, and this one.
The Truman Show is a cool portrayal of an interesting and cool idea. I mean, what if your whole life was a television show? That would be crazy! It's clevor, dramatic, funny, and a fun film to watch and enjoy.
The directing and shots are very stylistic and the script and acting is fantastic. A great movie.
