With very unlikable lead character, awful actor and incredibly pretentious approach, The Truman Show is a fascinatingly overrated film, the one with ludicrous and boring plot, bad characters and acting and made with a "oh look at this, my movie is so sophisticated" approach, when in reality it isn't.
An immensely overrated film with fine concept, but terrible execution.
