Review of The Truman Show (1998) by Jem S — 10 Jul 2014
Prescient, punctual (it was released in the wake of "reality shows") and perfectly written. It is also a sunny Orwellian tale, a postmodern take down of the American artificiality of suburban life.
And even better, it is family-appropriate, so the kiddies are welcome to think along with the 'rents. Carrey gives the performance of his career.
