Review of The Truman Show (1998) by Rambo B — 05 Oct 2015
The theme, "we accept the world around us a reality and don't stop to think and question it". our individual worldview is like a cell. We can choose to live in it or venture out. That is, if we knew there was a way out.
How unethical it is for everyone to be in on keeping us in that cell? And behind the facade there is a puppet master who pulls all the strings. Truman, since birth only knew his sterile world. He goes through some awakening and fulfills his longing to find his true self so he can be a True man to himself.
