Review of The Trotsky (2010) by Garett S — 23 Jul 2011
A great movie, especially for those with some knowledge of Russian history, otherwise some of the film's jokes will fly over your head. Baruchel's performance is both quirky and charming and sets the tone for this fun and lovable comedy, which history buffs will especially enjoy as they see modern depictions of soviet leaders learnt about in school brought to life on screen.
Too bad it did not succeed in the box office...
