Review of The Tripper (2006) by Austin G — 29 Oct 2007
Lackluster slasher spoof from multiple hyphenate and genial goofball David Arquette stretches its one-joke premise -- mentally disturbed Ronald Reagan impersonator kills hippies at a wilderness love fest -- past the breaking point.
Intermittent laughs aren't enough to compensate for a story that's as meandering as its drug-addled characters, and the meagre budget is evident in the cut-rate visual style.
