Review of The Triplets of Belleville (2003) by Ian N — 30 Mar 2008
A very inventive film, with a fantastic style of animation that enhances the characterisation, plot, comedy and action of the film. Virtually a silent film, the characters are superbly realised so that you can foillow their actions and understand them perfrctly, especially Bruno the dog.
It is a simple, yet fantasical story and full of wit and drama. A great antidote to the disneyfication of animation.
