This film traveled hither thither and yon but when all was said and done it seemed to have been neither here nor there. Was it a comedy, food movie or travelogue? It didn't seem to embrace any of those genres and in the end felt as if it missed on all accounts.
The banter on Batman's Tom Hardy and Christian Bale provided some laughs but endless impersonations became....endless. Brief scenes of food preps, the heart and soul of food flicks, only whet the appetite but never fulfilled.
