The premise of "The Italy Trip" is simple - Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon travelling around, taking in some picturesque scenery whilst dining on fine foods. Unfortunately, the cinematography fails to do these justice.
There's much talk of death and ageing as they follow in the footsteps of Byron and Shelley. There are celebrity impressions from Brydon and they are quite humorous but the pace is slow and genuine moments of hilarity few and far between.
