Review of The Trip (2011) by Rafiq U — 25 Jul 2011

For what it is, it's a pretty spectacular movie. I mean two guys carrying a whole movie is really hard to do, but this movie succeeds and it's not like 80 minutes long neither. It's a good 1 hr.

47 min. of Coogan and Brydon who are funny in their own right, but them coupled with the hilarity that could possible ensue in a normal trip, somehow works and is pulled off pretty well. Sure, some parts aren't funny and there's a forced sense of emotional moments toward the end but it's a fun ride, especially if you like British comedies.
