Review of The Tree of Life (2011) by Clark M — 29 Jul 2012
Terrance Malick is swiftly proving to be a very overrated and protentious director. I have yet to see ONE of his movies where it has a good strong plot that keeps you invested in what's going on. Tree of Life doesn't have that. All it has is a bunch of still shots of trees, animals, and dinosaurs? What? Bottom line is that this movie has no real point other than to tell people that Malick is better off being a director for a Planet Earth documentary.
