Review of The Tree of Life (2011) by Jason S — 26 Oct 2012
This film is a combination of a Discovery Channel nature documentary and The Thin Red Line (one of Terrence Malick's previous works). However, unlike The Thin Red Line (which has explosions, developed characters, and a plot), nothing happens in this movie and the viewer is left confused and bored.
I highly recommend this film if you need to take a map. Extra half star for dinosaurs.
