I loved this movie. It's about three desperate Americans in Mexico that team together to prospect for gold in the Sierra mountains. It's an intriguing adventure of how ambition leads to greed, greed leads to paranoia, and the effect that has on a man.
Aided by great writing, Bogie gives a tremendous performance, as does Walter Huston and Tim Holt.
