Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by David M — 28 May 2008
This is my favorite Bogart film because his range of acting is truely shown here as he is his usual self transforming into a greedy obsessive man who loses it all in the end. This is one of those rare westerns about prospectors than cowboys and native Americans.
The film does not age in time and is still gripping as it was more than 60 years ago. A masterpiece.
