Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by David B — 19 Feb 2009
John Huston's oscar winning script and direction make this film absolutely wonderful. Bogey's gritty, anti-hero performance is compelling, while Walter Huston steals the show and deserved the oscar for his extremely entertaining performance as Howard, the old prospector.
The story pulls in you in and doesn't let your attention go until it is over. A true classic!
