Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by Keith H — 12 Oct 2009
Quite enjoyed this. Classic story of greed consuming a person. It also features what I believe to be the first instance of the "old prospector" stereotype, one of my favorites. So all the harmonicas, impromptu hoe downs, and heartiness in general really made me laugh.
It was a little too long to be honest, and the end is a somewhat anti-climactic. The young lead is a dead ringer for Heath Ledger.
