Review of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) by Star Z — 10 Jul 2009
This film is amazing, the depth of the dialogue and the total absence of prejudice throughout the film are almost other worldly. This film is one of the greatest writing and directorial feats in the history of cinema in my estimation.
Easily the best pre-1950's film I have yet to see, and not only that, it is amoung the very best films I have seen from any era.
