Review of The Transporter Refueled (2015) by Imthenoob — 22 Dec 2015
Ed Skrein gives it his all and I am not saying he's bad but when you are following up the guy who pretty much made his career off this franchise, It's tough to top. He just doesn't have that sort of every day joe feel that Statham had, He looks far too model like and it's tough to even remotely see him as a bad ass.
Now as for the film, The plot is really typical and the action just doesn't have that quality that it did with Statham as the lead. All in all, It's a reboot/remake that played it far too safe. There's nothing original about it, There's no defining moment. It features nothing that would make me want to see another one. I think it will more than like go the Bourne route - They tried to start the franchise with a new lead and it didn't work so the next film will more than likely feature Statham again as lead is there is a next Transporter.
