Review of The Transporter Refueled (2015) by Ronald M — 24 Dec 2015
This tale follows an exceptionally skilled driver as he goes on one of his deadly missions transporting whatever his well-financed contractor is capable of paying for. No one dare get in his way as he fulfills his duty lest they end up knocked out or dead, such is his mastery of both driving and some kind of martial-art/boxing hybrid.
This film is filled with violence as we watch the transporter's contractors double-cross and manipulate both him and various other dupes in their ploy to steal wealth. They are also young, attractive women who are only too eager to repay other's kindness with sex. Thus, in all, it is a hollow tour-de-force film suggesting that the goal in life is ease, relaxation, and prestige at whatever cost.
