The film actually unfolds in a reasonably engaging manner; one dramatically sophisticated sequence contrasting the goodies’ and baddies’ responses to their leaders’ respective demises stands out.
The anime-inflected look is generally impressive too, although the power-rock soundtrack is unsalvageable.
