The Transformers: The Movie undoubtedly features the best animation presented in the original cartoon, and possesses iconic moments within the Transformers franchise, such as the brutal massacre of the Autobots within the shuttle scene and the death of Optimus Prime.
The movie notably slows down after the Battle of Autobot City and still contains some animation errors, but overall is a solid entrance for the G1 continuity.
