Review of The Transformers: The Movie (1986) by John R — 18 May 2009
Orson Welles, in one of his final performances, didn't really give a damn about "toys fighting other toys" and yet, his performance as the mighty Unicron was the coolest part of the whole movie!
Add to that the soundtrack, which 80s hair metal seems to go well with Transformers, and you've got a great movie tha tDARED to even kill off Optimus Prime right at the start!
With Eric Idle, Robert Stack, Leonard Nimoy, and even a song by Weird Al Yankovic!
