Review of The Transformers: The Movie (1986) by Arief L — 10 Jul 2009
This is a fantastic and fun 80s summer action movie pulsating with a thick layer of velveeta cheese (in a good way). The movie really ups the ante from the cartoon with far superior animation, a crazy hair metal soundtrack, and a decidely darker tone (bringing with it many deaths of characters).
Plus, it puts Bayformers to shame. Orson Welles is also great as 'Unicron', and the voice acting all around is pretty good.
