Review of The Transformers: The Movie (1986) by Gavin P — 16 Dec 2015
I know I have a bias toward this movie, but it is my favorite movie (despite the flaws in it). There are a lot of great scenes throughout, and one of the best moments is near the end. Kup tells war stories at several points, reminded of certain battles, but when asked what Unicron's attack on Cybertron reminded him of by Hot Rod, he replies, "I've never seen anything like this before!".
Great moments include the obliteration of Starscream by Galvatron. I'm sure fans waited two years just to see that one critical moment. I recommend it, but only for fans of the original cartoon fans.
To some, it is an acquired taste.
