Review of The Train (1964) by Kevin D — 08 Feb 2009
A deliriously exciting action film that has the audacity to undertake more cerebral topics and succeed brilliantly. The Train is not just a WWII thriller, it's also an examination of the value of art, particularly when weighed against the value of human life.
Lancaster and Scofield are superb and director Frankenheimer is at the top of his form.
