Review of The Tracey Fragments (2007) by Marcin M — 10 Mar 2008
This movie is incredible. It is incredibly stimulating. Through the script, the filming, the execution, and especially the fragmented editing approach the inner emotion and processing of the mind of a young female teenager are intriguingly and ultimately accurately portrayed. This drama is deliberately drawn-out, over-exaggerated, and presented in bits and pieces to allow us to touch not only the soul of Tracey Berkowitz but our own, and one day we will be better because of it. I recommend this film to everyone, though not everyone will appreciate it. Remember this though, one day when you have a teenage daughter watch 'The Tracey Fragments' and you will feel as she feels, you will know her desire, her sense of inadequacy, her fears, and her dreams.
Phenomenal is my word for 'The Tracey Fragments'.
