Review of The Tracey Fragments (2007) by Simon R — 29 Jul 2008
Holy shit!
I don't really know how to explain this movie but it runs like this, It tells a story in different screen slots. What I mean is that there will be multiple angles shown on one screen through split screen and different boxes placed around.
I loved it because it took elements of a scenery and made them more apparent so you could get a better feel of the surroundings and character. It placed random character moments in certain boxes and the style really helped understand the main character and pieces that weren't in the mainline of the story. It's really hard to explain what the fragments but they just added a lot and helped make this movie brilliant.
Very fucking sweet movie. The style was just engrossing and I wanted to watch again immediately.
