Review of The Tracey Fragments (2007) by Michael H — 18 Apr 2010
The main thing you have to think about when watching this movie is that it's an independant movie. The budget would've been......well, there was no budget. Interesting idea, although not portrayed to the best it could've been. I never thought I'd say this but, I think the editor went a bit overboard with the splitscreen in places.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ellen Page supplies some great acting in this and I felt for Tracey Berkowitz. It was kind of her fault the whole thing went as it did, but I still felt sorry for her. Which I believe is impressive.
This may not be a great movie by itself, but I have repect for The Tracey Fragments, a daring premise and an unconventional delivery.
