Not McQueen's best film, but still a good watch. I don't know about the solution to the fire at the end. Seems way too far-fetched, but I'll take it. Faye Dunaway is as beautiful as ever. The last conversation between Newman and McQueen seemed to hit pretty hard for a post 9/11 viewer.
I wonder if it had the same effect on those who saw it back in the 70's.
