Review of The Tortured (2010) by Miquel J — 26 Dec 2010

Problem with the movie is 1) the stars (Erika Christensen and Jesse Metcalfe) either can't act or decided not to try and 2) the plot is way too far-fetched that it's impossible to believe these educated people would actually act this way. There's absolutely no way they would not consider the fact that their free lives would end by kidnapping and torturing the criminal -- you would automatically be suspects #1 and #2.

But I digress. If you want to watch some torture porn with a twist, enjoy it. But be aware that you will see more than a few flashbacks and a disconnect from the actors because they just can't act. Or didn't try.
