Review of The Tomorrow War (2021) by Morjito — 17 Aug 2021

Better than the recent worn-out (cough) superhero movies or action flicks released this year 2021. The story seem to look like Starship Troopers at first that catches the attention, but surprisingly goes to a different direction and twist later on.

Chris Pratt and Yvonne Strahovski did a great job to play out their characters, and the supporting cast were convincing enough with their limited screen time. There is also a nice balance of story-telling and action scenes in the movie to keep the viewer interested.

Overall, the movie is not at all ground-breaking but was "enjoyable" to watch, and it sends a discreet basic "moral lesson" on how to be a better human person that is lacking in movies nowadays.
