Review of The Tomorrow War (2021) by Barny — 02 Jul 2021

The scenario is a pile of garbage topped with rubbish. It's a poor remake of other, more successful movies: in fact it is a mishmash of a lot of other movies and include things such as "hero poses", "hero speech", implausible situations, etc. Not worth your time, it was a waste of mine. Nothing to save: actors are acting poorly, soundtrack and sound effects are unimpressive, visual effects are okay, action scenes are laughable, politically correct stereotypes play a key role in this production (including global warming). Switch off your mind and you may enjoy this production, anything else will leave you very disappointed.

I feel the need to add a few things to my review: in more than 30 years, the army and its contractors did not develop any new technology to destroy living things, no new bullets, nothing to target intelligently these creatures, no new firearms nothing, despite the fact that we literally have drones being operated from the other side of the planet now? In the present, it sends off untrained civilians with the equivalent of bb guns which have almost no effects on any of those creatures ? The suspension of disbelief has its limits and let's face it, this production is dumb. At least in the edge of tomorrow, the attack is sudden and nobody cares about time-space continuum, not even the aliens.
