Review of The To Do List (2013) by Joshua M — 25 Nov 2013
Charming and irreverent, the admittedly lackluster script is elevated immensely by the cast (particularly Clark Gregg, Bill Hader and, of course, Aubrey Plaza), but not quite enough to put this in the same category as Mallrats or Wet Hot American Summer or similar off the wall young adult comedies that ACTUALLY came out in the 90s instead of wishing that it did.
There are a lot of fun moments in this one, but it dances around making a point for just under two hours and never quite gets there, which is a shame really.
