Review of The To Do List (2013) by Rhynal R — 24 Dec 2013
Some decent laughs and a quirky main character make this comedy interesting but the story's been done before. Humour is fine, with some genuinely funny moments from time to time, mostly coming from the main character being oblivious to many of the sexual experiences, but aside from that, others were just there to fill the movie.
Surprisingly I liked the soundtrack, as it was set in the 90's and as such, had 90's music, which is great. The movie tries too hard at times to be funny which incidentally ends up making it not funny but I'll admit there were a few chuckles to be had here and there.
Maybe take a rent if you're into this kind of movie but know that it's a 'been there; done that' type movie. Nothing really special or memorable about it. 4/10.
