Review of The Tingler (1959) by Cindy I — 19 Oct 2009
This movie has science so preposterous, it makes The Core look like a Discovery Channel documentary. The rubber creature is hilarious. It's incredibly silly, too silly to be scary at all... though perhaps a lot of the experience is lost watching at home, without vibrating "Percepto" seats for me and my fellow watchers, or actors planted in the audience.
Even without the gimmicks, however, it's kinda fun for a few goofy laughs and campy absurdity.
