(1957) The Tin Star.
WESTERN.
Not to confuse this with the story which "High Noon" was based on which coincidently was called "The Tin Star"- this is a totally different movie starring Henry Fonda as a bounty hunter coming to town and coaxing rookie shooter Anthony Perkins to save his town from rowdy bandits!
Don't remember too much about this film, except to say that that I liked it as an unusual Western since Anthony Perkins can't seem to shake off this "Psycho" persona, this film does have a satisfying conclusion!
3 out of 4.
