Review of The Time Traveler's Wife (2009) by Shane D — 20 Apr 2011
Despite liking both McAdams and Bana, this was rough going for the most part. 20 minutes in I contemplated stopping the film and starting a different one but I persevered. I liked certain elements of this, the time travelling partner and once there was a semblance of a story line (what happens to Bana's characters future) then things became a little more interesting.
It felt like it could be a half decent story in parts but in all reality, it was more of a stupid romance film. I mean, it was bloody creepy wasnt it...an old man time travelling back in time to seduce a little kid.
..creepy methinks.
