With all the excellent reviews I saw for this movie, I was expecting it to absolutely mesmerise me. Sadly, I was left feeling disappointed. I have not read the book, but if it is as dull as this movie was, I don't see the point.
There were some sad bits and the acting was OK, but the film itself just wasn't enough to hold my interest for very long.
