Review of The Time Machine (1960) by Francois C — 12 Feb 2008
Yes, the special effects and costuming are poor in comparison to the technical marvels they are now able to produce for the cinema, but, if you can suspend disbelief and forgive the naivete of the 60's, you'll enjoy this classic sci-fi adaptation of the famous H.
G. Wells story. For all it's shortcomings, this is a fun, entertaining film. However, if you rate movies by their special effects, then this isn't the film for you -- subtract about 3 stars from my review.
