Review of The Time Machine (1960) by Robin P — 03 Feb 2011
Not only is H.G. Wells' novel a classic in the Sci-Fi genre, but this movie is as well.
The visual effects, given the budget and the time period it was made, are inventive, and well done. The time machine itself is a Sci-Fi lover's dream.
The story is enjoyable, though the first half of it is more Sci-Fi, while the latter half is more action oriented.
Even though, this movie is a little dated and B-moviesque by today's standards, the enjoyment factor still holds up. Definately a movie I'd enjoy popping into the DVD player once in a while and watch with some popcorn.
