Review of The Three Musketeers (2011) by Lane Z — 24 Mar 2012
Oy, was this an abomination of a movie. Heavy on CGI. Lacking in script. Over produced. Under acted. This movie was a comedy of errors.
It's surprising some of the actors who chose to add their name to the list, and I'm sure by the finished product, they'd wished they hadn't. It's so dumb and goofy, you can't even tell the difference between the comedy and serious tones. You just laugh at everything. That's not to take away from a few lines that make you laugh because of how ridiculous it is.
The colors and costumes were poor. The CGI was horrible. It was a mutilated baby of Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downy Jr. version) and Pirates of the Caribbean hot air balloon style. Let's forget this one ever happened for the sake of "all for one and one for all".
