Review of The Three Musketeers (2011) by Alec B — 25 Mar 2012
You know, I wouldn't mind a steam-punk, mindless action version of this story if it was done well. The problem is Paul W.S. Anderson's direction. Like his 'Resident Evil' films, he places focus on dull slow motion to fast forward to slow motion sequences that were already repetitive well before the start of the movie.
He is probably one of the most consistently disappointing action directors out there. Also, Milla Jovovich should never do period films . . . ever.
